Most of the graphics cards in our GPU benchmarks hierarchy can earn money right now by mining, depending on how much you pay for power. But there's more to it than just firing up the software and letting it run in the background, especially if you've managed to procure one of the best graphics cards or best mining GPUs. Thanks for your reply and have yourself an EPIC day.Ethereum GPU mining remains profitable, at least until it shifts to proof of stake some time this year (we hope). I'd really love to be able to monitor, control and define a custom fan curve by using MSi Afterburner ! Unfortunatly, ASUS software have always been pure garbage. ĭoes anyone have any idea how can I fix this? I don't want to use ASUS GPU Tweak II.

I believe they updated the vBios on the card and now it's no longer working, else an AMD Radeon Software driver release broke the fan control with MSi Afterburner for this specific GPU SKU. It worked just fine before I RMA'ed my card for the Heatsink Mounting Pressure design flaw on this specific model. Performance bios mean my fan is always spinning, even at idle on desktop with no 3D app running. My BIOS switch on the GPU PCB is set to "P" for performance, which is reflected by the last letter of the vBios filename above.

That being said, i'm capable of monitoring and controling the speed of my fan with ASUS GPU Tweak II v2.1.7.1 : GPU Fan tachometer, RPM : 0 (all the time) In MSi Afterburner v4.6.2 Hardware Monitor all I get is this : I'm unable to control and monitor the fan speed of my ASUS ROG Strix RX 5700 XT with MSi Afterburner v4.6.2
